My name is Deena Keith and I have been teaching the last ten years predominately in the grade 7 and 8 division. I have a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the University of Guelph and acquired my teaching certificate from Nipissing University. I have a particular passion for the inclusion of technology in the classroom (Smart Boards, iPads, iPods) to engage students and enhance learning. I believe that learning is a life-long process and am always looking for ways to improve my program delivery.
On a personal note, I am married to a large animal veterinarian, and mom to a very busy 2 year old girl, a crazy boarder collie mix, and a demanding cat. We all have a passion for animals, the outdoors, and family.
